Getting a job

Getting a job is important for your Seedling; it provides financial security and money to help you rent or buy and furnish your apartment.

The job market:

To access the job market, select your Seedling by clicking on them or their face on the top left of the screen. Then, you can choose the jobs option within the menu. Here, you will see a full list of the different jobs available. This is broken down into:

Job Title: The name of the job

Workplace: Where the job is located.

Timings: This is the job's daily working hours.

Required Qualifications: This shows if the job requires specific qualifications, which can be gained through University Courses.

Wage: How much your Seedling will be paid.

Tax: This will show if there is a tax on the salary of this job.

Fallback Job: You can select this option so that if your Seedling loses their job, it will fall back into this position.

Applying for a job:

To apply for a job, you choose either the quick apply option; this means that your skills match the needs for that position, and you can start immediately or apply. The apply option means your application would be approved by another Cultivator (player) as their business hires for that position.

Job skills and higher-paid jobs:

Some jobs pay higher salaries because they require additional skills. The red icons on the jobs screen indicate the skills needed. These additional skills can be acquired by using the University to study and boost your Seedling’s skills. Some other skills can be acquired through Desires or from natural gameplay. Some of these skills are not developed through University but through day-to-day life of a Seedling.
