How to look after your Seedling
Basic Needs:
Seedlings have five basic needs listed on the Seedling menu at the bottom left of the screen.

NEEDS- i.e. seedlings need to keep these from reaching zero or will face negative consequences. Seedlings will prioritize picking all of the activities that fulfill ‘Needs’ at the highest priority.
- Water: A Seedling always needs access to clean, drinkable water to stay hydrated and healthy.
- Food: A Seedling always needs access to consumable items to fulfill their need for food.
- Rest: Ensure your seedling's good health by assigning a regular sleep schedule and a providing them with a place to sleep comfortably.
- Energy: A Seedling can only stay active for so long before exhaustion sets in. Engaging in work, exercise and studies depletes their energy, and without resting or beverages, they’ll struggle to keep going.
Seedlings also have three wants:
- WANTS- i.e. seedlings want to perform these activities to live a basic and satisfied life, but may require player help in achieving them. Seedlings prioritize picking all of the activities that fulfill ‘Wants' at the second highest priority.
- Social: Seedlings are social beings, talking with other Seedlings on a regular basis will ensure their social need remaining fulfilled.
- Comfort: A Seedling thrives in a comfortable environment. Proper seating, soft surfaces, and relaxing activities help maintain their well-being.
- Hygiene: A Seedling needs access to running water in order to clean themselves.
Colors also represent the needs levels:
- Green: Happy and fulfilled
- Yellow: In need
- Red: Low and needs addressed urgently
Ensuring your Seedling’s needs are met is important for a happy, functioning, productive Seedling! Your Seedling will be sent to the Colony Shelter if their needs go dangerously low. There they will get access to food, beds, and bots to help bring their needs back to a healthy level.
