Relationships

Relationships are vital for your Seedling’s health and well-being. Good relationships that meet all these needs will ensure your Seedling is happy and productive! 

You have control and flexibility in how your Seedlings develop and maintain relationships! Updates include the introduction of Closeness and Romance values, automatic and manual relationship progression, and expanded relationship types.

Relationship Types

• Seedlings form different types of relationships, including Friends, Romantic Interests, Partners, Spouses, and Relatives.

Relationship Values

• There are 2 relationship values: Closeness (non-romantic) and Romance (romantic).
• Both of these values start at 0 and progress over time as your Seedlings engage in different activities.
• As these values increase, new activities are unlocked.

Automatic and Manual Progression

• You have the choice to progress your Seedling’s relationships automatically or manually.

Planning For Kids

• You can plan for children between Seedlings in a relationship by sending a direct request. Once accepted, the "Try for Baby" activity becomes available whenever one Seedling is fertile.

Ending Relationships

• You can end any relationship via the "End Relationship" action, which resets all relationship progress.

Focuses

• Focuses are shared goals that Seedlings in a relationship work toward by doing activities together.
• You'll be given Focuses to choose from, which you can either accept or shuffle for a new option. Only one Focus can be active at a time, and only one player needs to accept it to activate it for both Seedlings.
• Focuses can contribute to the Romance or Closeness value of a Relationship.

If no relationships are listed in the Relationships tab, it means your Seedling hasn't met anyone yet. Take them out and help them start connecting with others! 7. Romantic Relationships

• Once the closeness in a Seedling relationship reaches 50% - there is a small chance (5%) with every interaction that Seedlings autonomously develop a romantic interest in each other.
• The more Seedlings interact, the higher their chance of developing romantic feelings for each other.
• You can encourage a romantic interest between Seedlings by making them spend more time together to increase their Closeness to the right amount and have more chances of the relationship progressing.
• You can check the status of a relationship by checking the Relationship Overview screen - any updates will be displayed on this screen.
• Seedlings also progress into Partnerships, in the same way.
• You need to ensure that the Closeness and Romance values are at the right level and then encourage their Seedlings to spend time together.
• Marriage is a bigger decision where Cultivators can send marriage proposals
• When a marriage proposal is accepted, Seedlings officially get married!
