SEED Discord Server Rules & Information

Welcome to the SEED community! Our goal is to build a fun, inclusive, and respectful space for everyone on Discord, in our streaming chat, and in-game on Avesta. These rules apply everywhere in the server. By participating, you agree to follow them, along with Discord's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines. You must be at least 13 years old to use Discord and this server.

I. Core Conduct & Respect

Be respectful and inclusive. Treat everyone with kindness. Harassment, discrimination, hate speech, or toxic behavior of any kind will not be tolerated, including anything based on race, ethnicity, gender, age, religion, sexuality, or disability.

Keep a positive spirit. Foster a friendly, encouraging atmosphere. Play fair, be kind, promote teamwork.

Language & communication. English is currently the primary language in our main channels. Keep chat civil, avoid excessive swearing or antagonistic behavior. We have a language filter on our Discord server. 

Use channels for their purpose. Share bug reports and ideas in #seed-suggestions-v2, keep unrelated chat in #off-topic-chat, and use #society-recruitment to form societies. Keeping channels on-topic helps everyone find what they need.

No politics or religious debate in main channels. These tend to derail community spaces fast, please keep them out.

II. Security & Safety

Protect personal information. Never share personal details, yours or anyone else's. Doxxing or revealing private information is strictly prohibited.

Watch for scams & phishing. Never click suspicious links or trust unsolicited “giveaways,” free Nitro offers, or trades. Klang and SEED staff will never DM you first asking for your password, payment details, or account info. If someone claims to be staff and does, report it. Klang staff may ask for your email address for support purposes only. Never your password details. 

III. Prohibited Actions

No cheating or exploiting. Cheating, hacking, or exploiting bugs for unfair advantage is prohibited. Found a bug? Report it to the team instead of abusing it.

No real-money trading. Buying, selling, or trading accounts, in-game items, or currency for real money, or trading outside official channels, is prohibited.

No impersonation or misinformation. Do not impersonate staff, moderators, or other players. Do not spread false information about the game, updates, or community matters.

No spam or unwanted promotion. Avoid excessive self-promotion, advertising, or links to other communities. Spamming in chat, voice, or DMs is not allowed.

No NSFW, illegal, or harmful content. No sexual, graphic, or gory content. No sharing of illegal material, piracy, or coordinating anything unlawful.

Keep engagement public. We encourage public, community interaction over private DMs. Unsolicited DMs for trades, recruitment, or promotion are discouraged.

No ban evasion. Using alternate accounts to evade a mute, kick, or ban is prohibited.

IV. Reporting & Enforcement

Reporting. If you experience or witness anything inappropriate, report it to a Moderator or Community Manager on Discord. All reports are kept confidential.

Strike system. We use a strike-based approach so expectations are clear:

• Strike 1 - Warning from a Moderator. We'll point out the issue and expect it to stop.

• Strike 2 - Temporary mute (typically 24–72 hours, depending on severity).

• Strike 3 - Temporary suspension or kick from the server.

• Strike 4 - Permanent ban.

Strikes are logged by our moderation team and may ease over time for members who stay in good standing. Moderators apply judgment on where a violation lands; minor spam and targeted harassment are not treated the same.

Serious violations bypass the ladder. Threats, doxxing, hate speech, NSFW/illegal content, scams, or ban evasion may result in an immediate ban without prior strikes.

Appeals. If you believe an action was taken in error, you can appeal by DMing a Moderator. We'll review it fairly.

Updates. These rules may be updated as the community grows. Continued participation means you accept the current version.
