The Kernel

The Society Kernel is a central building where new Seedlings arrive when they are sent to the planet or migrate from another society. It also serves as a communal storage container for the resources needed to start a new society. In an early society, the Kernel is the main inventory, letting you store resources and grab food and water for basic needs.

• Migration: the Kernel is also used to migrate a Seedling to another society: click the Kernel, Inspect, then click Migrate in the inspector panel.

• Deliveries: initially the Kernel acts as a temporary Delivery HQ, with Seedlings as delivery personnel. Buying a Delivery HQ Antenna from the Marketplace lets a society create a proper Delivery HQ building with Delivery Drones.

New societies begin with limited infrastructure, so establishing food production and jobs quickly is crucial for survival.
